Public art in Norway

I was heavily impressed by the fact that Norway is still active in the hunting of the whale for the purpose of using its meat for human consumption and for other commercial purposes. In the worl we live in animals are modelled and used to meet a human need. They loose their main feature of living beings to become food and semi-industrial products. In a similar way I dismantle the whale realistic representation to create a cold and geometrical figure yet maintaining the expressive force and nature of this amazing beast.
